Who can go?
Sr. Highers (entering grade 9 through just graduating high school) can go as youth volunteers
College Students can go as adult volunteers or co-leaders
Adults can go as leaders or co-leaders

You do not need to have any construction experience to go on ASP. We learn as we go, and will place new beginners with experienced ASP volunteers to ensure that every team is equipped to succeed.

Sample Schedule

  •  7am wake-up, get ready, breakfast
  •  8am get your supplies, make your lunches, and pack the vans
  •  9-4ish work at the jobsite
  •  4-6pm head back to the center get your showers; fill out your job binders
  •  6pm dinner
  •  7pm evening gathering
  •  8-10:30 free time
  •  10:30pm lights out
  •  11pm quiet time

To Register

  1. Go to
  2. Choose Volunteer from the drop down menu in the upper left corner
  3. Click on Register for Summer 2019 and follow these steps
    1. Click on Quick Group Member Sign-up on the right-hand side of the page
    2. Use group number 8166
    3. Click on Join this Group
    4. Fill out the online form (or use your sign-in from last year)
  4. Fill out the paper form available in office (needs notarized) and turn it into Jenna by JUNE 21st
  5. Form is available online as well but will need to be printed, notarized and turned into Jenna
  6. To find form online, click on Group Leader from the drop down menu, the under Forms for Each Volunteer, it is the Volunteer Statement and Registration Form

Jr. High Mission Trip

July 27-31st, 2020
Cost: $75

Where are we going?
We volunteer with an organization called Jackson Area Ministries in Jackson County Ohio. We will stay with a host church somewhere in that area.

Who can go?
Middle Schoolers (entering 6th grade through graduated 8th graders) can go as youth volunteers
Sr. Highers can go as helpers (reduced cost of $35)
College Students and Adults can go as adult leaders (no cost)

You do not need to have any construction experience to go on the Jr. High Mission Trip. We learn as we go, and we will all be working together on each project. Youth will be using power tools, but only under the direct supervision of experienced adults and following strict safety measures.

What will our project be?
In the past, we have built several wheel-chair ramps, a fence, done porch-repair, and painted.

  • 7:30am Wake-up

  • 4-6pm Shower, make dinner
  • 6pm Dinner
  • 7pm Devotionals
  • 8pm Group games or activity
  • 9pm Free Time

To Register
1. Fill out a JHMT Covenant form available in office and turn into Jenna with $75 by JULY 15th.
2. Fill out a Youth Medical Information / Emergency Contact form and turn in before we leave for trip
